Cytisus Eurydice focuses on the security of persons and data in an individual's private life as well as business life. To do this, they have helped develop training regimes using social engineering tactics and techniques by phishing, vishing, and through the use of malicious (training) drops. Their background in National Security, Information Protection and Security assists with identifying potential national crisis and keeps malicious communities on their radar.
Malicious communities are the source of Cytisus Eurydice's long-term research interests, which focus on the darknet, machine learning and artificial intelligence, (cyber) spiders, cyber terrorism, cyber threat intelligence, social engineering, and social networking in online communities. In order to dive deeper into these fields, they are currently researching smart spiders and their potential on the Tor network.
Combating human trafficking is a passion project of Cytisus', which is fueling the design of opensource tools. In order to take actionable steps toward assisting in this area, they volunteer with the Innocent Lives Foundation, which is a non-profit working to unmask anonymous online child predators to help bring them to justice.
Cytisus is a member of the following:
Do you have preconceived notions about the darknet being a place where redrooms are rampant and people openly plan to commit crimes? If so, you have preconceived notions of the darknet which may be harmful for you, your investigations, and ultimately society. Cytisus will help break down these stereotypes and help you build a stronger darknet foundation.
Understand what the darknet is and how to securely access it. Once online, the focus is on developing a darknet persona and identifying communities to establish yourself in. From here we begin to conduct OSINT investigations.
How can a company, of any size, identify and manage online security risks? Work directly with employees to make sure they understand how to protect themselves and your company's data! This training will show your team how to create education materials and test the workforce effectively.
Primary objectives include threat hunting internally; investigating and remediating cybersecurity incidents; working with teams globally to ensure cybersecurity hygiene is developed and followed. Assisted with the development and continuation of cybersecurity education efforts and testing of the workforce using social engineering tactics and techniques.
Working with SAIL Lab on cyber threat intelligence (CTI) research, specifically identifying indicators on the darknet. Projects include a smart spider, social-engineering tools, and social media CTI. Find out more by visiting the SAIL Lab website
